A tiny kitten from Perth, Australia, was taken to Warwick Veterinary Hospital as it was in need of help. The kitten weighed only 172 grams and appeared to be a few weeks old. Despite having a compromised leg, the medical team, led by Dr. Fiona South, did their best to save the kitten's life. The infected leg had to be amputated to prevent further complications, even though the surgery was risky. The vets were unsure if the kitten would make it, but they were determined to give her the best chance at survival.
