Sugar, a pit bull terrier mix, was shot and left to die in a gas station parking lot in Durham, NC. She was taken into the care of Hope Animal Rescue and has made a full recovery after professional training. Despite this, she has been overlooked for adoption due to her age, fur color, and breed. If she is not adopted by November 23, 2022, she will be euthanized. Sugar needs a home with no other dogs and a backyard to run around in, as well as an owner who enjoys outdoor activities.
