Animal Shelter's Doorbell Rings At 1:30 AM — And Staff See A Familiar Face!

Bailey, a beloved dog at the Animal Rescue League of El Paso, had been living at the shelter for a long time. Finally, she found a new home, but when she got scared and ran away, she somehow knew exactly where to go. She made her way back to the shelter, crossing many roads to get there.

At 1:30am, the shelter's doorbell camera alerted the staff to Bailey's familiar face waiting outside. The staff welcomed Bailey back with open arms and gave her food, water, and a cozy bed to rest. Although Bailey loves her new dad, her experience reminded her of the love she still holds for the shelter staff.
