A cat who arrived at a shelter four months ago, charms people with his good looks, hoping that his lucky day will come soon.

Georgie was found as a stray cat and brought into an animal shelter four months ago. He was about three years old and had accumulated his fair share of street credibility, braving the outdoors and fighting for survival.

Georgie came with a sweet-natured temperament and a permanent head tilt. "He likely had a severe infection that went untreated which caused this," , founder of

shared with Love Meow.

The tilt doesn't bother him at all or require any additional care. "But it does make him extra cute."

Georgie is a big-framed boy at about 15 pounds with an even bigger personality. He would greet people at the shelter each day with his adorable tilted face, and hope that someone would take him home and love him forever.

After three months of waiting but to no avail, Georgie was transferred to Community Cat Club, a rescue group based in Gloucester County, NJ, for a better chance at finding a good home.

"He was constantly overlooked," Sara told Love Meow. "We can't understand how because he is the sweetest love-bug ever."

Georgie is very friendly to everyone (human or cat) who comes to visit him. He likes to walk up to gaze at his people with his inquisitive eyes and endearing head tilt. He loves getting petted and equally adores giving head bumps.

The rotund silver grey cat enjoys loafing and sunbathing by the window.

He isn't shy of strutting about, showing off his big cheeks and his good looks, trying to win everyone over.

Georgie emanates his charming qualities without much effort. All he needs to do is look his people in the eye and stick his tongue out for good measure.

He has turned into a playful cat with an affinity for snuggles. "He's friendly, affectionate, loyal, and a couch potato."

One by one, other cats that came to the adoption center with him, have found homes, and Georgie finds himself alone, anticipating his day to come, too.

"He is currently the only cat at our adoption center, because everyone else has been adopted. Those chunky cheeks, whiskers, gorgeous eyes - what not to love."

Georgie is a man about town, a happy big fella who doesn't miss out on an opportunity for a good snuggle session.

He revels in his new life as an indoor cat with lots of good food and soft blankets.

Georgie is the happiest boy when he lounges on a couch, chases a toy, or simply sits next to his people, watching the day go by.
