Set Sail with Your Feline: Singapore Launches the First Cat Cruise

Singapore is known for its innovative and unique experiences, and now cat enthusiasts have something to look forward to. Tall Ship Adventures has introduced the world's first cat-friendly dinner cruise, allowing cat owners to enjoy a luxurious dining experience alongside their beloved pets.

The cat-friendly dinner cruise takes place aboard the Royal Albatross, a 47-meter luxury tall ship, and departs from the picturesque Sentosa Island. Boarding for the cruise starts at 6:30 PM on selected dates and can accommodate up to 15 feline friends and 130 passengers.

The Royal Albatross has been specially outfitted with exclusive cat amenities, including a bespoke Cat Lounge, playful cat hammocks known as "cat-banas," and a dedicated cat playground.

Cats can now join their owners for a glorious 2.5-hour sunset cruise, enjoying the sea breeze and stunning views while experiencing the ultimate luxury voyage.

During the cruise, cats are treated to a delectable meal of PetCubes sachets, offering chicken or beef options. Meanwhile, the human guests indulge in a four-course gourmet meal featuring prawns, salmon, chicken, and a sweet pavlova dessert. What's even more exciting is that furry guests are granted their very own seat at the table, making them feel like true VIPs.

The pricing for this unique experience is set at $225 (£132) for adults and $125 (£73) for children, with cats cruising at no extra cost.

However, for those looking to go all out for their pets, exclusive upgrades are available. The "Meow-tastic VIC" and "Purr-fect Birthday" packages offer champagne, roses, and an expanded seven-course meal for two humans, priced at $750 (£439.38) and $650 (£380.79) respectively.

The cat cruise also offers masterclasses on feline skills and welfare, led by cat experts. These classes are perfect for cat owners who want to deepen their bond with their pets and learn how to integrate them more seamlessly into a human-centric lifestyle.

Tall Ship Adventures has previously established dog-friendly voyages in 2021, catering to Singapore's love for animals.

This new cat-friendly cruise celebrates the adoration for feline friends and the iconic Kucinta breed, allowing cat owners to create unforgettable memories with their pets.

To ensure a smooth sailing experience, all cats must be supervised, comfortable in a harness and lead, vaccinated, sterilized, free from parasites, and over four months of age. This ensures the safety and well-being of all guests, both human and feline.

The innovative cat-friendly dinner cruise offered by Tall Ship Adventures reflects Singapore's love for cats and provides a perfect blend of luxury and companionship for pet owners and their cherished cats. So, if you're a cat owner looking for an extraordinary experience with your furry friend, mark your calendars for this one-of-a-kind adventure on the Royal Albatross.
