A one-year-old chihuahua named Bailey was found abandoned on a bike trail in Malden. A Good Samaritan discovered him and brought him to the police, who then took him to an animal hospital for treatment. Bailey weighed less than 3 pounds and had severe fur loss. He is now receiving baths and medication for a skin disease and is slowly gaining weight. Although he is not ready for adoption yet, anyone with information about the case is urged to contact the Animal Rescue League's Law Enforcement or the Malden Police Department.
