Carla Stowe, president of Baby Gunn's Animal Rescue, noticed her dogs were agitated and went outside with a flashlight to investigate. She found a yellow box held together by duct tape in her yard and someone peering out from within. Stowe cut open the tape and discovered a friendly pit bull who'd been abandoned.
She was angry about the dog's treatment but pleased he'd receive the care he needed. RD, as he was named later, is now doing well in the animal rescue center, with new friends and learning how to love again. He'll be available for adoption soon. Baby Gunn's accepts donations.
