While driving through Bali, Prue Barber spotted what she thought was a hyena but turned out to be a hairless and emaciated dog, later named Hilary. As the founder of Mission Paws'ible, a Bali-based dog rescue organization, Barber decided to rescue Hilary.
After several massages and a healthy raw-food diet, Hilary's coat began to grow back. She was then adopted by Jancis O'Mara from British Columbia, Canada, and renamed Tilly. Her full mane continued to grow in her new cooler climate, and she now lives comfortably with her sister, a calico kitten named Kabuki, while going for long walks and being spoiled with treats.
