The Paris Animal Shelter in Texas received an unexpected donation of 39 very tiny kittens from a woman who found them abandoned in her backyard. The kittens ranged in age from three to eight weeks old and varied in health, with some underweight, dehydrated, flea-infested, and experiencing diarrhea. The shelter was overwhelmed by the influx but received assistance from 10 other animal rescue groups. Within a few days, all 39 kittens were safe in foster homes, and the shelter is grateful for everyone who helped. The kittens will be up for adoption and find their forever homes soon.
