Abby, a senior dog between 10 to 12 years old, was picked up by animal control looking skinny and sick from eating garbage. Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana took her in, and after determining her ailments, gave her the necessary treatment to aid in her healing journey.
Sarrah Walton of the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana shared that she had to undergo a series of treatments and surgery, but all paid off. Abby is now a fluffy, spunky pup full of life who loves snuggles and love from volunteers. She only has one more treatment left and is ready to go to her forever home.
