Despite spending 13 years in a shelter, Sam, a 13-year-old German Shepherd, found his forever home with George Johnson, a 93-year-old Navy veteran. When George saw Sam, he knew they were meant to be together. Sam is a loving and friendly dog, and George's decision to adopt him has brought happiness into both their lives. It's never too late for a dog to find love and companionship. I am grateful to George for rescuing Sam and giving him a second chance at a joyful life.
