In 2008, Christine Weber Bouldin, serving in Afghanistan, met a special kitten with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). Bouldin fell in love with the cat named Felix and decided to bring her home. After paying a driver to transport Felix to a pet shelter in Kabul, Bouldin flew her to the US. Despite the high costs, Bouldin believes their connection was worth it. Today, Felix lives with Bouldin and her husband in Colorado and has helped her through tough times. Bouldin sees her as an angel sent from God.
