Kefir, a Maine Coon cat from Russia, is on track to become the world's largest cat. Weighing in at 27lbs at less than two years old, he has already surpassed the average adult weight of his breed. Kefir's owner, Yulia Minina, says that despite his intimidating size, he is very affectionate and behaves calmly. Due to his bulky fur, Kefir is groomed regularly to reduce shedding. Videos of the mammoth moggy have been posted on TikTok, but Yulia denies any use of Photoshop. Kefir will continue to grow until he is three or four years old.
