Sergeant Jason Bos and his K9 partner Cila were separated after Bos retired, but were recently reunited after two years apart. Cila, a chocolate Labrador Retriever, worked as an explosive detection dog and had trouble listening to anyone except for Bos. They completed over 100 missions together, including protecting high-profile individuals. Bos was forced to leave due to a back injury, but when he learned Cila was about to be retired, he adopted her without hesitation. The American Humane Association and Mission K9 Rescue helped bring Cila back to the United States.
