Two senior cats, 11-year-old Mojo and 16-year-old Max, were dropped off at a Maryland shelter. A woman adopted Mojo but couldn't bear to leave Max behind. She returned to adopt him and reunite the two friends. Many older animals never find homes, but there are people who understand that homeless senior pets need more of a lifeline than younger ones. The shelter sees more good than bad human behavior, with some adopting the oldest pets available
