Ryan Gosling will not be singing the theme song for his upcoming film The Fall Guy. The actor revealed this information during an interview at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. The film is an adaptation of the 1980s series of the same name, which was originally led by Lee Majors. Gosling confirmed that a "pretty great artist" will be performing the song instead. Blake Shelton is rumored to be the artist providing a contemporary rendition of the track. 

Gosling's revelation comes after a year of showcasing his musical talent, including his role in La La Land and his performance in the rock duo Dead Man's Bones. Despite not singing the theme song, Gosling has maintained a friendship with Majors since the two met on set. The Fall Guy will be released in theaters on March 1.
