Introducing a new pet to the family can be daunting, especially when you have a large dog like the owner in this story who recently welcomed a kitten into their home. Surprisingly, the tiny feline showed no fear towards the Saint Bernard dog, who is much larger in size. In a video shared by @bigpawspaco, the black and white kitten can be seen bravely confronting Paco, the dog, even while he's eating. The video titled "New kitty's not scared by the big guy" has garnered 2.9 million views since it was posted on March 3. The age of the kitten is unknown, but according to Cat's Protection, kittens can be adopted at eight weeks old, weighing just under 2lbs.

Paco, the dog, is eight months old and has a lot of growing to do. The American Kennel Club states that this breed can weigh between 140 and 180 pounds in adulthood, making the kitten at least 70 times smaller. Despite the size difference, the fearless kitten took on Paco with no hesitation. The owner mentioned that the introduction between the two pets was gradual and carefully planned. To ensure a smooth transition, the cat was allowed to explore the house while the dog was outside playing, and introductions were made when the dog was calm and relaxed. Marny Nofi from the ASPCA advised taking things slow when introducing pets to each other to avoid any fear or discomfort. The heartwarming video has received over 323,000 likes and 1,050 comments, with viewers admiring the kittens' boldness and the dogs' gentle nature.
