Two 3-month-old terrier mix puppies, Star and Denver, were found dumped in a rural part of Louisiana with their mom and siblings. While Star is deaf and almost entirely blind, Denver acts as her guide and constantly checks on her to make sure she's okay. The two are very bonded and love to play with each other.
All but Star and Denver have found their forever homes and the rescue is hoping to find someone who can give the pups the care and attention they need. If you live in the San Diego area and are interested in adopting them, you can fill out an application on HWAC's website.
