Pearl the cat has become famous for his serious and protective attitude towards watermelons. Pearl lives on a farm in Thailand with his family and has taken it upon himself to guard the watermelons. For six years, Pearl has scared away any potential thieves with his intimidating glare. 

Despite his tough exterior, Pearl's family insists that he is actually a sweet and loving cat. Pearl is not the only cat who has shown an interest in watermelons, as there are other cats seen lounging on melons or enjoying a bite. Watermelon is a cat-friendly snack and many cats seem to enjoy it. Pearl continues to be the king of watermelons on his farm.
