Asha, a Golden Retriever living in Australia with her owner Kerry McKinnon, was found one morning snuggled with a baby koala on her back. Asha had saved the baby koala who had fallen out of its mother's pouch and was left alone all night.
The duo caught the attention of Kerry's husband who called her to witness the adorable sight. Asha did not try to get the koala off her back and seemed content to let it snuggle. The koala was taken to the vet, treated, and is now under the care of a local carer until it is old enough to be released back into the wild.
