Chrissy Elder of Forgotten, Now Family Rescue visits her local shelter in Charlotte, North Carolina several times a week to help animals in need. Recently, she noticed a small dog named Piggy who was sad and in terrible shape. She got him out of the shelter and admitted him to the veterinary ER for treatment of his painful skin condition. After five days, he went to a foster home where he received medical baths three times a week and two rounds of antibiotics for an infection. With a lot of TLC, Piggy's hair is showing signs of regrowth, and he's happy and playful. He's now looking for a forever home that must love floppy ears.
