Karen found a cold and dirty dog in her yard and gave her a blanket and chicken soup. She called Buddha Dog Rescue & Recovery who brought a kennel trap and caught the dog, named Ella, who had been missing for two weeks and six miles away from her foster home.
Ella was returned to the rescue where she had been living and warmly welcomed back. Karen's calm approach allowed Ella to feel safe enough to stay in her yard and Ella's owners were overjoyed to have her back. Ella loves her new home and is now a "big couch potato."
