The poster clarified that Darwin was a service dog due to their Crohn's disease and despite being 140 pounds, was allowed on the plane as long as she was comfortable. The process involved filling out a form with the Department of Transportation, and Darwin received her ID number for the flight. The only concern was the attention Darwin received at the airport.
