Jada Pinkett Smith is embarking on a philanthropic endeavor through her personal care brand Hey Humans, and her son Jaden Smith is joining in to help. In an exclusive video shared with PEOPLE, the 22-year-old actor and musician announces that Hey Humans will be making monthly donations of personal care products to The ReFresh Spot. Located in the Skid Row neighborhood of Los Angeles, The ReFresh Spot provides community members with access to showers, restrooms, laundry facilities, and supportive services.

Jaden expressed his pleasure in being involved in the partnership between Hey Humans and The ReFresh Spot, as it helps residents of Skid Row find comfort in their daily challenges.

By supporting his mother's vision and providing personal hygiene to those in need, Jaden believes that this collaboration promotes dignity and self-confidence.

The video clip sheds light on how personal hygiene can be sacrificed during periods of emotional and mental distress. Jaden sits down with Evans Clark, the program manager of The ReFresh Spot, to learn more about how Hey Humans will contribute to the Skid Row community. Clark explains that the organization offers 24/7 access to showers, restrooms, phone charging stations, laundry facilities, DMV vouches, and referrals for drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs.

He emphasizes that everything provided is free, and all that is required is patience while waiting for a turn.

Clark also mentions that the Skid Row community members appreciate the vegan and cruelty-free Hey Humans products, including body wash, lotion, toothpaste, and deodorant. These items have been made available to them through the new giveback initiative.
