Ryan Gosling spoke about his role as Barbie's love interest in the upcoming live-action Barbie film during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. The actor, who stars alongside Margot Robbie in the movie, teased that he doesn't find it insulting that his character in The Gray Man, played by Chris Evans, refers to him as a "Ken doll." 

Gosling humorously embraced the title, saying he has "Ken-ergy." He also hinted at the colorful rollerblading scenes in the movie, saying the released photos showcasing him and Robbie in neon were nothing compared to what audiences would see. Gosling expressed excitement for people to see the film, joking that he couldn't say more or else Mattel would come and "box him up." The Barbie movie, which also features a star-studded cast, is set to be released on July 21, 2023.
