Amigo, a blind kitten with microphthalmia, was found wandering the streets and brought to a rescue. He immediately befriended other cats, especially Smokey, and settled into his foster home despite being timid. Amigo coped well with his limited vision and played like a normal kitten. Five months later, Kelly and Louie adopted him to be a companion for their cat Basil. With Basil's confidence, Amigo quickly came out of his shell and they became best friends. Kelly and Louie were patient and dedicated to giving Amigo a loving home, and he has adjusted wonderfully.
