A litter of five wild baby bunnies were abandoned on a compost heap at just three days old. But their fortunes changed when an unlikely father figure in the form of a male Chihuahua named Mitch stepped up to care for them. Mitch, who had been at Capricorn Animal Rescue center since he was six months old, has taken to grooming and cuddling the young rabbits as if they were his own. The staff at the rescue center are hand-rearing the baby rabbits and providing them with milk every few hours. Thanks to Mitch's love and devotion, these adorable creatures are now thriving under his watchful eye.
