The proposed spinoff would have a "True Detective-style" vibe, exploring supernatural events in the "Lost" universe. Leung mentioned that while the spinoff would be its own thing, he wouldn't mind returning to the iconic show.

Leung fondly reminisced about his time filming "Lost" in Hawaii. He associated the show with the beautiful island, and returning for a spinoff would give him an opportunity to revisit the stunning location. However, he acknowledged that it would depend on the direction of the spinoff and which cast members would be involved.

Since "Lost," Leung has been keeping busy with roles in popular movies such as "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens," as well as TV shows like "The Night Shift," "The Blacklist," and the upcoming "Searching 2." Holloway, on the other hand, appeared in movies like "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" and shows like "Colony" and "Yellowstone."

Leung also addressed the issue of Asian actors being stereotyped in Hollywood, remarking that he is still approached for roles that involve martial arts, despite not being a martial artist himself.

On a positive note, Leung expressed his happiness that his child can watch shows like "Shang-Chi" and have a superhero to look up to who looks like them. However, he also noted the need to be cautious and critical of Hollywood's attempts at representation, emphasizing that there is still a long way to go in eradicating centuries-old biases.
