She recounted how the cast would gather for "Lost" parties to watch the episodes together. However, whenever there was an episode centered around her character, Kate, Lilly admitted feeling embarrassed. "I would want to curl in a hole and die because I knew I was bad," she shared. Even now, she confessed that she still cringes when watching the first couple of seasons because she feels that her acting wasn't up to par.
The popular series, created by J.J. Abrams, aired from 2004 to 2010, running for six successful seasons. In addition to discussing her time on "Lost," Lilly also mentioned turning down other significant roles. She revealed that she had the opportunity to play Wonder Woman in a DC installment when approached by Joss Whedon during the first season of "Lost.
" However, she didn't feel a connection to the character and decided not to pursue it.Furthermore, Lilly famously turned down a role in the "X-Men" franchise when she was approached by her "Real Steel" co-star, Hugh Jackman. Lilly admitted feeling rude for rejecting the offer and not fully appreciating the opportunity to work with such esteemed actors.
Reflecting on her choices, Lilly acknowledged that she was young and perhaps not as polite as she could have been. Nevertheless, she remains grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow as an actress throughout her career.
