Henry Cavill & Guy Ritchie’s New WW2 Movie Gets Release Date

Henry Cavill's upcoming film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, a collaboration with director Guy Ritchie, now has an official release date. Based on Damien Lewis' book of the same name, the movie follows Britain's first special forces team as they fight against the Nazis behind enemy lines. The film is set to release on April 19, with a trailer expected to drop in the coming weeks.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is described as an action comedy, in line with Ritchie's previous films that combine violence and humor. The story is based on recently declassified files from the British War Department and involves a group of unconventional soldiers fighting the Nazis, laying the foundation for the British SAS.

The star-studded cast includes Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, and Eiza González. It remains unclear if the film will have a sequel, as Cavill is also involved in other projects.
