Henry Cavill won't be playing Lord Cregan Stark in House of the Dragon's second season, and that's a good thing. Cavill, on the other hand, is better suited for a different Game of Thrones prequel, specifically as Aegon the Conqueror. Cavill's portrayal of Geralt in The Witcher showcases his skills as a powerful warrior, making him a perfect fit for Aegon.

 His dramatic range and charisma would bring depth to the character burdened by prophecy. Additionally, this would be a lead role with potential for a movie adaptation, making it a better opportunity than playing Cregan Stark. While Cavill may not be part of House of the Dragon, there is still hope for him to make his mark in the Game of Thrones universe.
