Just over a month after a devastating earthquake hit central Italy, firefighters made a miraculous discovery. They heard meowing coming from beneath the rubble and found a gray and white long-haired cat named Rocco, who had been trapped for 32 days and was still alive. Despite being dehydrated, Rocco was in good health. It remains a mystery how he managed to find food and water to survive, but it is clear that he is resourceful.

Rocco's humans were present at the scene, preparing to oversee the demolition of their house, and were overjoyed to find their beloved pet alive. A vet named Cristiana Graziani checked on Rocco and confirmed that he was doing well. This amazing story serves as a reminder that even in the midst of devastation, there can still be moments of hope and resilience.
